Welcome to Gilden Woods Commerce Township, MI, a nurturing daycare and preschool serving families throughout Walled Lake, Commerce, Wolverine Lake, Novi, White Lake, Waterford, and West Bloomfield.
We provide care for Infants, Toddlers, Twos, Preschool, Pre-K, and School-Age children, with flexible Full-time, Part-time, Drop-in Care, and Summer Camp options available. We also offer GSRP, Michigan’s free, state-funded Pre-K program, as well as enrichment programs in Music, Gymnastics, Spanish, and Soccer.
With more than 60 years of combined experience, our team is made up of CPR & First AId certified teachers and highly trained educators who hold Child Development Associate (CDA) credentials, Associate degrees in Early Childhood Education, and Bachelor degrees in Early Childhood Education. Our teachers help children build a great foundation with a meaningful approach to early education. We guide preschoolers to foster kindergarten readiness skills and a lifelong love of learning.
We provide a variety of healthy meal and snack options and encourage children to try new foods. Families love the strong sense of belonging here, where teachers, children, and parents truly feel like part of a community. Each day is filled with fun, hands-on learning experiences that spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence. I live in Waterford with my partner Nick and our two cats Riley and Sora. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, collecting teapots, and playing board games.
