Welcome to Our School
Welcome to AppleTree East Lansing! We are located at 3341 Coleman Rd, East Lansing, MI 48823, just 5 minutes off the US-127 exit. We proudly serve families who commute into the East Lansing area, including those from East Lansing, Bath, DeWitt, Mason, and more.
Our childcare and preschool center offers programs for Infants, Toddlers, Twos, Early Preschool, Preschool, Pre-K, and School Age Camps, all created to help children learn, grow, build confidence, and thrive. We also offer the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) for eligible Pre-K families. Families also appreciate our flexible scheduling options, including full-time, part-time, and Summer Camp.
Children can enjoy engaging enrichment opportunities such as Spanish and Soccer, supporting their social, cognitive, and physical development in fun and meaningful ways.
Our caring, experienced educators make every child feel loved, supported, and inspired to grow. Our teaching team brings 100 years of combined experience and holds CPR and First Aid Certifications, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and developmentally supportive environment every day.
Safety is our top priority, and our thorough health and safety standards create a secure, nurturing place for children to learn and play. Families love our family communication app, SproutAbout, for its live streaming classroom access and real-time updates that help them stay informed and engaged.

Hello! My name is Emily Langlois. I joined AppleTree in 2019 with several years of experience as a Preschool and GSRP teacher. After serving as a lead teacher in our classrooms, I joined the administrative team. As Program Director, my goal is to ensure every child receives high-quality care and education in a safe, nurturing, and child-centered environment. I strive to create a welcoming and supportive experience for all families.

Samantha Barnum, Assistant Director
My name is Samantha Barnum. Before becoming Associate Director, I served as the Lead Teacher in our Infant 2 classroom and took on additional leadership roles as Team Lead and Safety Captain. In my role as Associate Director, I am committed to supporting our teaching team in providing a safe, nurturing environment and a high-quality educational experience for every child in our care. I’m excited for the opportunity to welcome your family and help make your experience with us a positive one!
