Welcome to Our School
Welcome to Gilden Woods Grand Ledge! Our daycare and preschool center is located at the corner of Saginaw Highway and Nixon Road, and just 5 minutes from downtown Grand Ledge. We proudly serve families from Lansing, Grand Ledge, Potterville, Eaton Rapids, Charlotte, and Portland, offering care and early learning for children 6 weeks–12 years.
Our early education programs include Infants, Toddlers, Twos, Early Preschool, Preschool, Pre-K, and Before- and After-School Clubs, each designed to support emotional growth, early learning, and school-readiness skills. We proudly offer the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) for eligible four-year-olds and provide flexible scheduling options including full-time, part-time, drop-in care, and Summer Camp.
Children also have the opportunity to participate in our enrichment programs, including Spanish and Soccer. Each day is filled with fun, hands-on activities that spark curiosity and creativity. Families love our school’s engaging environment, which features an indoor gross-motor room for active play and a classroom garden that encourages hands-on exploration and learning. We also keep families connected throughout the day with our SproutAbout family communication app, offering livestreaming access, real-time updates, photos, videos, and more.
Our dedicated teaching team brings 60 years of combined experience and holds strong early childhood qualifications including CPR Certification, Child Development Associate (CDA) Credentials, and Bachelor’s Degrees, ensuring safe, nurturing, and developmentally supportive care.
