Welcome to Our School
Welcome to AppleTree Standale/Allendale, a vibrant daycare and preschool center in Grand Rapids, MI. We serve families from Standale, Allendale, Walker, and Grand Rapids, providing high-quality childcare for children 6 weeks–12 years.
Our programs include Infants, Toddlers, Twos, Early Preschool, Preschool, Pre-K, and Before- and After-School Clubs, with full-time, part-time, and Summer Camp care options. We offer the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP), Michigan's free Pre-K program for eligible four-year-olds. Children can also enjoy enrichments programs such as Spanish, Dance, and Zumba.
Our team brings over 80 years of combined experience, with CPR and First Aid Certified teachers, and Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) lead educators. Families can feel confident knowing their child is supported by skilled, caring professionals every day.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics (Elementary Education)
Certifications: CPR/First Aid, Director Qualified
Hello! I've worked at Appletree-Standale/Allendale since 2018 and moved into the Director position in December 2022. I studied Mathematics and Elementary Education at Grand Valley State University and graduated in April 2022. My goal as the Director is to provide a loving, educational environment that meets the needs of our children and families. I am excited to learn more about you and your little one(s)!

Dominique Palma, Assistant Director
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Allied Health Sciences
Certifications: First Aid/CPR, Health and Safety Training
I started my career here at Appletree in 2020 as an assistant in our infant classrooms. After obtaining my degree from Grand Valley State University in 2022, I was able to take over the Assistant Director position! My goal as an administrator of this school is to create a loving, educational environment for all of the families in our care. I look forward to developing a relationship with you and your family to help foster a love of learning in your little one!
