Welcome to Our School
Welcome to AppleTree Walker East, where we proudly serve families throughout the Walker and Grand Rapids communities. Our childcare and preschool center is located at 2025 3 Mile Rd NW in Walker, MI. We are a NAEYC accredited school and partner with the West Haven School Readiness Program, and we also accept Care for Kids.
We offer early education programs for Infants, Toddlers, Twos, Early Preschool, Preschool, and Pre-K, with flexible scheduling options including Full-time, Part-time, and Summer Camp. We also proudly offer the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) for eligible four-year-olds.
Our teachers have over 50 years of combined experience in early childhood experience. Their educational backgrounds include Certified Development Associate (CDA) credentials, degrees in education, arts and sciences, and State of Connecticut teaching certificates. Our teachers are also First Aid and CPR certified and trained in the administration of medication.
Families love the strong sense of community here, where children, teachers, and parents truly feel connected. Our family communication app, SproutAbout™, provides livestreaming classroom access, real-time photos, videos, and updates—helping families stay informed and engaged every day.
